Fishing

The people of Utila have enjoyed the tradition of ocean fishing for decades. Whether it is tarpon, bonefish, permit, or another fish you are after, our experienced staff will take you to Utila's best waters for a big catch. While we can't promise you'll catch a big 18 pound barracuda we can promise a fun time and good memories! Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Wahoo, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, King Fish, and Barracuda are just some of the sport fish waiting for a fight. Our Caribbean waters also provide excellent flat fishing, where you will catch Bonefish, Tarpon Permit and Snook. Catch and release is the norm, however you may keep your prize or release it to fight another day, it's up to you.

Charters and Packages

Experience all inclusive day charters on our fully outfitted fishing cruiser. We set the lines, and the hook and you bring your fish to the boat.

A variety of packages are available, strictly offshore, offshore and flats, strictly flats, and fish & dive. Fishing and diving all start at Utila Lodge Resort with the flats fishing starting only 5 minutes away and the offshore fishing starting only 15 minutes away from the dock.

Guests need to bring their own fly fishing gear.
